Following the installation, start the Cisco An圜onnect Secure Mobility Client program from the Applications menu or command line by typing and vpnui in the installation directory (for Ubuntu this is /opt/cisco/vpn/bin/vpnui).Start the installation by typing sudo.Open a terminal window and navigate to the newly created ciscovpn directory.If not extracted automatically, unpack the downloaded file using an archive manager or open a terminal window, navigate to the file and type tar -xzvf filename (replacing filename with the name of the downloaded file).Download the appropriate An圜onnect VPN client from our Software downloads page.The client may also run successfully on other Linux distributions that fulfil the requirements detailed in the Release Notes.
